MILLSBORO, Del.- The 5th annual Southern Delaware Wine, Food, and Music Festival featured over 20 coastal Delaware restaurants and 50+ wines, beers, spirits, and local musicians. The festival also featured a chef throw down, similar to “Chopped” with celebrity judges.

Founder and director Stacy LaMotta wanted to bring together her favorite things–wine, food, and music–and use the festival to give back to non-profits in Sussex county.

“My goal always is to do something that the community could enjoy both themselves and as a way of giving back to the community. All the money we raised stays in Sussex county and helping protect our children. It’s amazing to me,” said LaMotta.

This year’s event benefits the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children and the Children & Families First Delaware.

So far, the festival says they have donated over $100,000.
