With fall tour season in full swing, be sure to check out which musicians and bands are coming to your city. Artists from various genres, including hip hop, rock and R&B, will make stops in the Northeast this October and November. Some of the notable performances include a final show for an iconic rock band and exclusive performances from two DJs coming to the United States this fall—make sure to catch these rare performances. Some of the other artists will perform from their latest albums while others are playing anniversary shows. Here are ten must-see concerts going on in the Northeast this fall.
Ariana Grande Shows Her Sweet Side

Pop sensation Ariana Grande will take the stage at Brooklyn’s Barclay Center and Uniondale, New York this fall for her Sweetener World Tour. Grande, who is frequently seen adorning her iconic thigh high boots and high ponytail look, is making these stops as part of the second leg of her North American tour. The “God Is A Woman” singer will perform her Sweetener and Thank U, Next albums during these performances.

The legendary Billy Joel will perform his permanent residence, New York’s Madison Square Garden, on October 25. In December 2013, he became the first music franchise for the hometown Garden. Be sure to arrive on time to the show as he is the sole performer that evening.

Electronic dance music producer Duke Dumont will perform at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn on November 9. The “Ocean Drive” artist will play alongside house music producer MK, and the show is one of three performances coming to the United States this fall. Duke Dumont is a two-time Grammy-nominated and platinum-certified artist, and chart topper MK is known for hit tracks such as “17” and “Piece of Me.”

The eternally young Jonas Brothers are making a return with their first tour since 2013. The group is embarking on their Happiness Begins Tour—which will come to Newark, Brooklyn, Boston, Atlantic City and Baltimore this fall—that will support their recently released platinum album, Happiness Begins. Classic hit tracks by the three brothers—Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas—include “Sucker,” “Lovebug” and “Burnin’ Up.”
Watch Freddie Gibbs Perform
Rapper Freddie Gibbs will make multiple stops in Northeast this year.

Rapper Freddie Gibbs will take the stage in New York City, Pittsburgh, Boston and Silver Spring (Maryland) in November to support his Bandana collaboration album with MadLib. The tour, which is dubbed The Album of the Year Tour, will run for less than a month and will make 16 stops. Cousin Stizz, Conway the Machine and Benny the Butcher will support Gibbs at select shows.

Louisiana singer-rapper Kevin Gates will perform in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Sayreville (New Jersey) this month for his “I’m Him Tour” in support of his sophomore album I’m Him, which was released in September. Gates will make 33 stops throughout the fall tour, which began October 12 and will close on November 30, so be sure to catch him while he’s in town.

The Godmother of Soul comes to Brookville, New York’s Tilles Center Concert Hall on November 9. LaBelle is credited with hit classics such as “If Only You Knew,” “You Are My Destiny” and “On My Own.” The legendary performer, who had a street named after her earlier this year in Philadelphia, released two albums in 2017: “Home for the Holidays” and “Bel Hommage.”

Iconic punk rock band Misfits are coming to New York’s Madison Square Garden with Rancid and The Dammed on October 19. Group member Glenn Danzig announced it will be the last reunion show for the band. Notable tracks by them include “Dig Up Her Bones,” “Last Caress” and “Die, Die My Darling.”

Watch Taking Back Sunday this November in Clifton Park (New York), Hartford, Boston, Silver Spring (Maryland), Philadelphia and New York City. The year-long tour commemorates the rock group’s 20th anniversary, and it includes the release of their career-spanning compilation, Twenty. The release features two new songs from the group. On tour, they will perform their debut album, Tell All Your Friends, in its entirety.

The country music star will perform at the Xcite Center in Bensalem, Pennsylvania on November 1 and November 2 as part of his “That’s Country Bro! Tour.” Some hit classics by the artist include “Red Solo Cup,” “Beer For My Horses” and “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.” Recently, Keith released an album dubbed “Toby Keith Greatest Hits: The Show Dog Year,” which boasts four new tracks in addition to the hits from his Show Dog era.
