Grammy Awards Receive Recognition in Song “Super Winner” by RahTwoFive, and Thanks from the Artist for Bringing Diversity

MALIBU, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, December 24, 2018 — The Grammy Awards® have received recognition in one of rap and hip hop’s most feel-good new songs; “Super Winner” by artist RahTwoFive. The artist further thanked The Recording Academy™ today on their support of inclusion and diversity.

Born and raised in the United States, RahTwoFive started his creative arts career as a fashion designer, graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. Influenced by a diverse array of artists, from Kayne West and Drake to Michael Jackson, RahTwoFive went on to work with Detroit internet star and Kid’s Choice Award Winner Jay Hilfigerrr, releasing their hot new song and video titled “Fire.” With his song “Super Winner,” RahTwoFive memorializes the importance of the Grammys® not only to him, but to the music industry at large.

Having announced this year’s Grammy® nominees for 2018, The Recording Academy™ will celebrate for the first time, eight nominees in each of the General Field categories including: Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, and Best New Artist. The 61st Annual Grammy Awards® will be presented by The Recording Academy™ on Sunday, February 10th, 2019, live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center, and on TV on CBS from 8:00–11:30 p.m. Eastern, 7:00-10:30 p.m. Central, and 5:00–8:30 p.m. Pacific.
