Courtesy of Dark Water Rebellion Local rockers Dark Water Rebellion have just released with a new music video release for their single “Chamensea.” The new video was written and directed by DWR frontman Brent Gorcie and was shot, produced and edited by local hero Ben Schigel of Spider Studios.

The video features live footage of the band performing at one of our favorite local clubs, Now That’s Class, and features a storyline matching the song’s theme of jealousy. It includes pyrotechnics by Schuyler White of Ohio Burn Unit.

“’Chamensea’ is a word that evolved almost as naturally as the band’s sound — on the road and out of an impromptu band practice,” reads a press release about the video. “During their first stint touring in Cleveland, before making the official move to their new city in 2017, DWR was working out some new jams. The song began as ‘Jam in C’ and was inspired by bass player Fabian Abarca’s Chilean accent. [It] eventually became the song’s title that stuck, ‘Chamensea.’”

You can see the band next on Sept. 24 when it plays the Grog Shop supporting the Parlor Mob and on Oct. 6 at the Beachland Tavern supporting Igor and the Red Elvises.
