Pianist Luo Tingyuan Actively Advocates Cultural Exchanges On Classical And New Music – A Review For ‘Young Professionals On Stage’ Recital Series

The program of the concert covered a broad range from the classical period to the modern period, from piano music to chamber music. The steinway artist Yu-Chi Tai and the pianist Ann Wu played the ‘The Carnival of the Animal’ from the composer Camille Saint-Saëns including the ‘Swan Lake’, which was extremely beautiful and fascinating.

Luo Tingyuan, the co-organizer of the event, not only committed a lot of time and ideas on planning the event, but also served as an essential support as the piano collaborator for the concert program. In addition, in order to promote Chinese piano music, Tingyuan played the Chinese contemporary music work “Pi Huang”, inspired by Chinese traditional classics–Peking opera. Many people asked about the arrangement and planning of the future concerts, hoping to have similar music performances again. The concert greatly enriched the cultural lives, rendered the artistic environment of the Bay Area, and strengthened the positive growth of classical music.

Luo Tingyuan said that she will be continuing to promote music events in the Bay Area. In the future, she will be expanding the impact of the performing art from classical music to new music and other art forms, and continuing to present the most exquisite art shows to the communities.
