36-year old American female rapper, Nicki Minaj may be retiring from music if her latest Twitter update is anything to reckon with.

The rapper who is engaged to Kenneth Petty in her Twitter update wrote – “I’ve decided to retire & have my family,” the Super Bass singer wrote on Twitter. “I know you guys are happy now.”

After releasing a string of mixtapes in the 2000s, Nicki Minaj joined Drake on Lil Wayne’s record label Young Money Entertainment.
Her debut album Pink Friday came out in 2010.
Mega-hits like Super Bass, Anaconda and Starships then established her as one of the world’s biggest female rappers.
Her fourth album Queen failed to top the charts in the US – leading her to lash out at everyone from Spotify to Travis Scott (whose album Astroworld did go to number one).
Nicki Minaj is a Hollywood star popular for her controversial and bold sometimes conflicting statements and this may be just another one leaving the genuineness of it all questionable.
However, there are reports that the rapper/singer/actress may already be married to Kenneth Petty in secret so there may be some truth in it after all.
