Having also appeared in two feature films “The Wee Man” and “The Rise of the Foot Soldier 3” as a club singer and in two TV programs including BBC’s “Tonight’s The Night”, Gary Driscoll has developed a repute for being an established club singer and songwriter.
On BBC’s “Tonight’s The Night” hosted by John Barrowman, Gary Driscoll sang “The Way You look Tonight” and on BBC Two The Hairy Biker’s “The Pubs That Built Britain,” he was invited to sing “My Way” which is also the song he sang at London gangster Reggie Kray’s funeral wake.
Gary Driscoll has two albums and five original singles to his name. The two albums include ‘Teach Me Tonight’ and ‘Gary Driscoll sings Matt Monro.’ His five singles include “The Old East End Tonight” and the popular 2018 release “Fly Home for Christmas.” Although “Fly Home for Christmas” was first released in 2018 with Ditto Music, it remains a fan favorite for holiday season. Born and bred in London, the artist has a repute for singing in various clubs throughout the city especially East End’s most famous club “The Blind Beggar.” Being recognized as a local celebrity in and around East End of London, Gary Driscoll was made an offer to perform at the funeral wake of one of Britain’s notorious gangsters, Reggie Kray.
