Mr Eazi has revealed his parent company emPawa Africa, would be partnering with music tech company, Vydia, to launch a new distribution company, Cinch Distro.

In an exclusive with international tabloid, CNN, the Nigerian rave singer revealed he is raising over $20 million dollars to fund African talents.

He explained that with Cinch Distro, music acts can upload a song to major streaming platforms for less than $2 (N500) or $10 (N1000) for unlimited uploads.

He further explained how the platform will work after music acts register with them.

“The way it works is that they register on the platform and make their music. It has an AI-based tech that will filter their possible revenue based on the number of streams they get on the platform alongside a couple of other metrics.

“The artists basically use the platform to distribute their music and we monitor their progress. That way we can make data-backed decisions about who to invest in,” he said.

Mr Eazi has proven to be a force to reckon with. His parent company emPawa, was launched in 2018, where it helped raise African music stars, some of which are Nigeria’s Joeboy and Ghana’s J. Derobie.
