The tour is billed as a 30th-anniversary celebration of the band’s “Shake Your Money Maker” album, which will be performed in its entirety at each show

“Shake Your Money Maker” arrived in stores Feb. 13, 1990. The album yielded hit singles “Hard to Handle” (an Otis Redding cover), “She Talks to Angels,” “Jealous Again” and “Twice As Hard.”

In addition to performing the “Shake Your Money Maker” album, the Black Crowes plan to deliver hit songs from throughout their career on a tour that launches June 17 in Austin, Texas.

Find the best things to do

The Robinsons, known for their contentious relationship, haven’t worked together since 2013.

In recent years, Chris has performed with the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, and Rich has pursued a solo career.

In 2005, the Black Crowes headlined the Carb Day concert at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The show, also part of a reunion tour for the Robinson brothers, was the first Carb Day show presented in the track’s infield.
