Curtain Call’s ‘A Christmas Story, The Musical’ extended through Dec. 15

“A Christmas Story, The Musical,” which was scheduled to close Saturday, Dec. 14, at Curtain Call in Stamford, has been extended for a final performance on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Based on the classic 1983 movie “A Christmas Story,” the musical chronicles young and bespectacled Ralphie Parker as he schemes his way toward the holiday gift of his dreams, an official Red Ryder Carbine-Action 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle.

The show was scheduled to close Saturday, Dec. 14, but with most performances of this production sold out, Curtain Call decided to add one final performance on December 15 at 2 p.m.

“Once we opened this production, demand for tickets exploded,” Curtain Call Executive Director Lou Ursone said in a news release. “Audiences have loved the music and terrific dancing that this new version adds to the classic film,” Ursone noted.
