This single was inspired by a number of questions John could not help but ask himself; Was the moon landing faked? Where is Voyager One now? Can we travel through a wormhole into other dimensions? A melancholic song with a happy tune, “Send a Sign” is about ‘Voyager One’ drifting into space, carrying its message, including a copy of ‘Johnny B. Goode’ by Chuck Berry.
“I thought about the possibility that one day, aliens may find this message from us, take one look at it and throw it away,” says Lee John, “Perhaps we would be very insignificant to them.”
This evocative single is a collaboration of subtle yet beautiful keyboard work by Hans C. Hansen, Earth Pattapong’s sublime talents on the lead guitar and Lee John’s powerful lyrics and unforgettable vocals.

About
British born, long term expat living in Thailand, Lee John started out his music career as a drummer, which made his ears ring because of which he turned his attention to songwriting. Now, despite years of banging drums, when he writes songs he strongly emphasizes on melody. He loves using vocal harmony when it’s appropriate and tasteful and wishes to create tunes you can whistle while walking to the bus stop. Lee John is inspired by what he calls “all the old stuff”: The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Tom Waits, Nick Drake and so on.
“Getting my tunes heard is all I am looking for,” says John, “I will continue to write and record music whatever happens. Maybe, like Van Gogh, I will become known after death, minus an ear – So be it.”
