Ghanaian musician and songwriter Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong popularly known as Becca has pleaded with Ghanaians to focus on her music and not on her alleged bleached skin.

According to the “Beshiwo” hitmaker, she cannot change people’s opinions or perceptions about her but she is can’t please everybody too.

She added that this bleaching brouhaha has been going on for almost three years now and it’s high time Ghanaians channel that energy in promoting her songs.

Becca further stated that Ghanaians listening and dancing to her songs is very important than focusing on whether she has bleached or not.

She made this statement at the Peace Fm studios where she was promoting her current single dubbed “Yes I Do” which features Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage.

“In life, you cannot please everybody and the moment you try to do that, that’s where your downfall starts. The opinion of people is fantastic, that is why I am a public figure.

It’s okay about what everybody says, this has been going on for three years and I think it is over and done with. They should be listening and dancing to my music, that is what is important”, Becca stated.

It has been rumored that the African Girl crooner has allegedly bleached her skin due to photos that have been shared on social media.

Well, the musician has denied bleaching her skin and has advised Ghanaians to focus on her music.
