Italian piano duo Sara Ferrandino and Federico De Antoni will be offering up items to every musical taste at “Piano À La Carte” at Sala Sudasiri Sobha concert hall, Lat Prao 41, on Sunday at 4pm.
Presented as part of the Italian Festival in Thailand 2019 by the Embassy of Italy, the concert will allow the audience to choose their own menu of music from an extensive list. Whether they’re classical enthusiasts or pop-rock music lovers, attendees will find something they like.
A graduate of Santa Cecilia conservatory in Rome, De Antoni is a highly experienced jazz musician who offers elaborate arrangements of pop-rock songs.
Ferrandino, meanwhile, has a solid classical background and has received numerous recognitions and awards at national and international level. She is an artistic director of the Cultural Association “Musicopaideia” which organises music festivals and competitions attended by young pianists and professors from around the world.
Admission is free but a donation of 500 baht is recommended to help raise funds for the Gift of Life Foundation to support patients in palliative care.
