The iOS app creates infinite, ever-evolving music composed by Jarre.
Synth pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre is launching a generative music app called EōN.
Using original beats, melodies and chords recorded by Jarre, EōN can create an infinite amount of musical compositions, which vary in tempo, tones and rhythms. Jarre says about the app: “EōN is a never-ending, never repetitive, organic art-piece that will live and grow forever in everyone’s own singular space-time continuum, at the tip of their finger.”
Along with the music, EōN will also generate ever-evolving graphics. To design the visuals, Jarre worked in collaboration with Alexis André from Sony Computer Science Laboratories, Inc.
EōN is available on iOS from today, priced at $8.99/€9.99/£8.99.
