JLS have teased they are working with songwriters that have worked with some of the biggest names in British pop as they plan their triumphant return to the music scene.
Original members Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Oritse Williams thrilled fans back in February when they said they would be returning to the music world after splitting up in 2013.
On Friday, the boys teased a brand new song as they hinted they were unleashing new tunes for their adoring fans as they took to social media to share video of themselves heading into a recording studio.
And the lads have revealed they have been penning tracks with LostBoy, who worked with Lewis Capaldi on Someone You Loved, Wayne Hector, who wrote with One Direction, and Mike Sabath, who has produced tracks for Little Mix.

Oritse told The Sun of their new songs: “We’re really excited about developing a new kind of JLS 2.0 sound.”
While Marvin added: “The music is still ultimately JLS — those pop, R&B, anthemic vibes.”
The boys also joked that they hope Simon Cowell will now sign them for a record deal having previously rejected them after they came second in The X Factor back in 2008, with JB saying: “He’s got to make us an offer we can’t refuse.”

The news of new music may help appease fans who have been left devastated by the band’s decision to postpone their planned Beat Again Tour which had been due to kick off in November.
Announcing the move to Summer 2021 dates, the band wrote on Twitter on Friday: “With regret we’ve had to make the decision to reschedule our JLS #BeatAgainTour as ensuring the safety of our incredible fans, crew and venue staff is our main priority.
“Our reunion tour is such a monumental moment for us that we want to make sure we are able to give the best show possible.
JLS joked they want Simon Cowell to offer them a record deal
“Given the amount of time and preparation it takes to produce an event of such scale we’ve had to postpone to a time that permits us to do so.
“All tickets will be valid for the new dates, please contact your point of purchase for more information.”
The news went down like a glass of cold sick for fans who were left ruined by the date changes.
Fans were deeply distraught when JLS rescheduled their 2020 tour dates to Summer 2021
One fan dramatically responded to the news by tweeting: “JLS has been cancelled” alongside a string of sad face emojis.
Another whined: “waking up to see JLS have rescheduled there tour has ruined my year.”
While another – of the many distraught fans – tweeted: “The JLS reunion was the only thing I had left to look forward to this year and of course that has been rescheduled too. Crying brb.”
