Rock band Journey is the headliner for the first 2020 concert announced for Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center.

The Pretenders will open the June 27 show at the Noblesville amphitheater.

Both acts are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, with the Pretenders entering in 2005 and Journey in 2017.

Known for hit songs such as “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Faithfully” and “Separate Ways,” Journey features Arnel Pineda on vocals and band co-founders Neal Schon (guitar) and Ross Valory (bass).

The Pretenders, led by Chrissie Hynde, reached Billboard magazine’s Top 20 with singles “Brass in Pocket,” “Back on the Chain Gang,” “Middle of the Road,” “Don’t Get Me Wrong” and “I’ll Stand By You.”

The 24,000-capacity Ruoff venue opened as Deer Creek Music Center in 1989.
