As his new Christian album Jesus Is King debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, all 11 songs featured on the project make their way to the Hot 100 as well. Most of them won’t live on the chart for long, but they have helped him reach a very special milestone on the tally, one which only a handful of artists have hit in the decades-long tenure of the most closely-watched ranking in the U.S.

With 11 new placements on the Hot 100, West’s career total rises to 107, up from 96 last frame.

107 Hot 100 hits is enough to move West up on the list of the artists who have appeared on the chart most often, and he’s now on his own in fifth place among all acts. Ahead of him are the cast of the TV show Glee (207), Drake (205), Lil Wayne (163) and Elvis Presley (109), whose number would be higher if the list was established several years earlier.

West is now just the seventh musical act to chart triple-digit hits on the Hot 100, with Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z also finding their way into that crowd, though they don’t have as many smashes as the newest addition to the group.

The “Follow God” rapper leapfrogs over both Minaj and Jay-Z to secure fifth place, though either of those musicians may step up on the all-time ranking when they have new music to share. Currently, their career totals sit at 105 (Minaj) and 100 (Jay-Z).

Amazingly, West has racked up all 107 of his Hot 100 successes in just over 15 years. He first appeared on the chart in 2003 with his breakout single “Through the Wire,” which introduced him and his debut full-length The College Dropout. Throughout the past 16 years, he’s pushed an average of just under seven songs onto the tally, and in 2019 alone he’s tacked on a dozen new cuts to his total.
