Although the two may have just given the world a taste of their relationship, it actually turns out they have been dating for a while—raise your hand if you feel absolutely deceived! 🙋🙋🙋 Thankfully, an Entertainment Tonight source spilled alllll the tea by giving us a huge inside look at Gaga and Dan’s relationship.
According to the source, “Gaga has real chemistry with Dan.” *squeals* “They have been seeing each other for weeks and have been working with each other for a while.” Even though Dan Horton just streamed into our collective consciousness like 0.5 seconds ago, he’s been dating Gaga for weeks. WEEKS! This is all so much to take in!
And if Gaga and Dan’s undeniable chemistry weren’t enough to get excited about, Dan is also helping Gaga make new music. (And no, not that kind of music.) “They have been working on new music, have spent hours of work time together and became really close. They’re working very closely together at a home studio in Hollywood, and sparks just started flying….They seem like a pretty good match,” the source added. Try not to get beside yourselves, Little Monsters, but LG6 is coming. I repeat—LG6 IS COMING! I don’t know about y’all, but this is probably what I appreciate most about Dan Horton, because it means I can finally (at some point) take the A Star Is Born soundtrack off repeat. Thanks, Dan!
Okay, so we know that Dan is an audio engineer and yadda yadda, but what is it that Gaga actually sees in this dude? Well, according to the ET source, Gaga adores his work ethic and loves that he’s super artsy and smart. “Dan’s adorable, Southern, artsy, and very different from the typical Hollywood guy,” the source said. “Right now, they are having fun and it’s convenient. She can talk music with him and knows all the big-name artists he’s worked with. She respects his work and sees him as a breath of fresh air.”
How amazing does this sound for Gaga! Now that she’s in ~love~, she can finally put that messy-AF Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk drama behind her. “All the talk of Bradley was all in fun. She’s ready to dispel those rumors once and for all,” the source added. Go on—live your best life, Gaga!
