Sunset at Leeds Festival 2019

It’s the second reported death at a music festival this weekend.

Yesterday a 17-year-old girl died of a suspected overdose at Leeds Festival.

Police were called to the Bramham Park in the early hours of Saturday and the 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead at around 3:40am.

It’s believed she took a “combination of drugs”.

A teenage boy, also 17, has been arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs and he remains in custody for questioning.
