Marble Falls Music Festival and VIP Event Date & Lineup Announced

The Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce hosts intimate VIP music event and music festival featuring folk-country musicians.

The Marble Falls Chamber of Commerce officially announces the lineup for the Marble Falls Music Festival VIP Event, and the Marble Falls Music Festival taking place the weekend of September 20th. Both events will highlight Texas country and folk singer- songwriters.

On Friday evening at the Uptown Theater, the VIP event will kick off the following day’s festival with an attendees’ social hour starting at 6 p.m. Music acts will begin at 7 p.m., featuring Austin-based singer- songwriter Parker Chapin, Americana folk and soul singer-songwriter Matt Kreutz, and country musician Alex Harvey as the openers. Event headliner John Arthur Martinez, an Austin-based singer-songwriter, will close out the event and he’ll also be performing as a special guest on Saturday at the Music Festival. There will be a brief intermission between performances where food, alcoholic, and nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

On September 21, the Marble Falls Music Festival will take place from 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at the Johnson Park Amphitheater. The festival includes performances from musicians such as swamp-funk band Shinyribs (“Who Built the Moon”); Austin-based singer-songwriter and music producer Kyle Park (“Don’t Forget Where You Come From”); 2017 Country Music Awards Texas Female Vocalist of the Year award winner Pauline Reese (“Save Your Breath”), and Brandon Alan, the festival’s opener whose most recently released single “Looking for You” charted in the Top 75 on Texas Radio in June.

Festival tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children (ages 4-12) if purchased in advance; tickets purchased the day of are $20 for adults. Seating options at the amphitheater include uncovered seats, as well as grass spaces for blankets and lawn chairs. Festival gates open at 3:00 p.m. and the event is rain or shine. Food, wine, and beer will also be available for purchase at the venue.
