The October Literacy music event was held at East Early Childhood School on Friday, October 18th. Mrs. Jorgensens class helped recite the nursery rhyme, Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. Everyone joined in for the yoga exercises for Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. The book, Draw Me a Star by Eric Carle was told and drawn by Laura the Librarian and Mrs. Kathi Buckingham, who also plays the piano for the event. We wore star glasses and recognized star readers, We are all stars! Mrs. Gunnersons class performed the East school cheer and then we heard about the book fair being held. / Photo submitted
