Shawna & NAM Friends in front of the Matterhorn
The Alliance Public Library invites you to experience a European tour with the Nebraska Ambassadors of Music, shared by Shawna Banks on Monday, September 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room. In early June, Shawna gathered in Lincoln with young people throughout the state of Nebraska for rehearsals and a concert, followed by their European tour.
They shared five concerts in Europe during their tour of London, Fountainbleu France, Seefeld Austria, Crans-Montana Switzerland, and Rothenburg. Shawna says, “I also enjoyed stopping in Lichtenstein and spending a day in Venice.” Shawna’s program will include memories and photos of her experience with a Power Point presentation.
Shawna is a junior at Alliance High School. She plays flute and saxophone in the Marching Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band. In addition, she is a Library Page with the Alliance Public Library. For more information, please contact Cynthia Horn, Outreach and Adult Services Librarian, at 762-1387.
