PANION WAS HONORED FOR H CONTRIBUTIONS AS A CONDUCTOR, COMPOSER, ARRANGER, AND PRODUCER. MARY: HE’D GO ON TO WORK WITH ARTISTS LIKE STEVIE WONDER AND ARETHA FRANKLIN. NOW, HE’S THE DIRECTOR OF UAB’S MUSIC TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM.
